Okay, I’m going to just own up to my ignorance here. In what ways was Jacob stereotypical? I always thought he was a little “flat” as a character (as in not well developed), but it never occurred to me before that he was stereotypical. A stereotypical soldier? A stereotypical black guy? Help me out here, tumblr.
